Arnold Schwarneggar meets Jayalalithaa in Chennai

The 67-year-old actor is in Chennai in connection with the audio launch of director Shankar's Tamil movie 'I'

Chennai: Hollywood actor and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger met Tamil Nadu chief minister J.Jayalalithaa in Chennai on Monday.

“It was fantastic to sit down with Tamil Nadu chief minister Jayalalithaa before our event tonight and talk about her state’s success and challenges." tweeted Schwarzenegger.

The 67-year-old actor is in Chennai in connection with the audio launch of director Shankar’s Tamil movie I. He met the chief minister at the secretariat at 2.45pm.

The meeting lasted for 20 minutes, officials in the chief minister’s office said on condition of anonymity. Details of the conversation were not available.

The actor will also meet superstar Rajnikanth during tonight’s audio launch of Vikram and Amy Jackson starrer I. Oscar winner A.R Rahman will perform all the songs from the movie live at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium.
